I love receiving and giving handmade cards. I just think it’s such a thoughtful gesture. A stack of these also make a great gift.

Cut light colored cardstock to 4 x 6”. Lay your silkscreen or stencil on the cardstock and dab lightly with paint. Carefully remove the silkscreen or stencil and repeat on another piece of cardstock. You don’t need to wait for the paint to dry for this step.

While the paint dries, cut your first background layer to 4.25 x 6.25” and second background layer to 4.5 x 6.5.” Run snail adhesive along the edges of each layer and assemble. (You can also use craft glue, but it tends to cause ripples under the cardstock.

Wait until the paint has dried fully and attach the final layer. Another cute touch would be to stencil or screenprint the envelopes too. Enjoy!

Materials:
5 x 7” blank cards
Snail adhesive
Adhesive silkscreens or stencils
Craft paint
Small foam brush
Cream or light cardstock
Various colored cardstocks

These are so pretty! What a fantastic idea. I have seen the Martha Stewart screen print stencils, but haven’t quite figured out what I would want to make with them. This would be perfect as a gift for someone!
