Chevron Carton Treat Boxes
I’m sharing a stylish chevron carton treat box today! These are so much fun, and they make a perfect party favour.
To begin, cut a 12 x 12 sheet of heavy cardstock in half. Layer one cutting pad, crease pad, cardstock and milk carton die. After die cutting the carton, fold each crease. I prefer double-sided tape, but you can also use glue to assemble the cartons.
Once the sides of your carton are assembled, fill with treats. You will need to do this before closing the top of the carton.
Once your carton is filled and you have folded the top, punch two holes for the ribbon that will hold the carton closed.
Thread the ribbon through the holes and tie a knot. Before finishing the bow, die cut your tag. Trim scrapbook paper squares to a size appropriate for the tag size you want. Die cut gift tags using the multipurpose platform, a framelits die and one cutting pad.
Label your tag, punch a hole in the top, and thread one end of the ribbon through. Finish the bow with the tag inside.
Die cut the chevron border using the multipurpose platform, two extended cutting pads and the chevron border strip die.
Flip the border over onto a piece of wax paper and spray a light coating of spray adhesive over the entire border.
Wrap the border around the sides of the carton and smooth down. Trim the excess.
That’s all there is to it! These are endlessly customisable, and the best part is that you can use different cardstock and paper patterns to make these appropriate for any event or holiday.
